So remember my last post when I was like...."
So we left Wednesday night, Thursday was Thanksgiving, and by Friday I was starting to feel some significant nausea. We left Saturday morning which was good, because it's gotten progressively worse since then. Harder to hide.
It's not morning sickness. It's all day sickness. And all night.
I try to hide my stash of ginger candies, lemons, peppermint oil, and saltines at work. I'm like a walking advertisement for pregnancy nausea haha. It's also difficult to keep my mouth shut because I have a coworker who is also pregnant and around my age....I just want to bond over baby stuff!
Couple of food aversions: Already mentioned meat, eggs are difficult too, and anything too sweet. The most I can do is honey in my oatmeal, and the ginger candies. Which I'm okay with.
Lemon water, has been my saving grace.
I've lost a couple of pounds because I haven't had much of an appetite, and I haven't been able to weight lift or go workout which we have been doing for a while now. So I'm pretty sure I've lost some muscle mass. Bummer. I also have a strong sense of smell, body odor and mold are the two biggies.
Just have to keep the lid on it for another couple of weeks. My first prenatal appointment is December 22nd, then we'll be telling our close family. (Woohoo!)
