Let us introduce ourselves! As all of you know, my name is Kember Benson and my adoring husband is Garrett Benson. We just recently passed our three month mark as newly weds, married June 14th, 2013 in the Manti Temple. We are both attending Utah Valley University where we met attending the same singles ward and living in the same apartment complex.
I am finishing up a Bachelor's degree in Community Health Education (if all goes on track, I'll be walking in April! .... and finishing up this summer.) and Garrett is in his second year working towards a degree in Accounting. I am working part-time for the UVU Student Center doing set-up tech and Garrett works just short of full time as an Executive Follow-Up Manager at Vivint.
We live in a one room apartment that fits us perfectly. My favorite feature, the sparkly popcorn ceiling texture. It was built in the 70's, so it definitely has some character. We have had power outages three times to date. Ha! We decided to create a bright spot and gave the bathroom some much needed tender-love-and-care.
We are settling in to love and life with each other and our adventure has just begun!
