Today I went in for my first appointment, which I was pretty nervous about. Mostly because I just wanted to see the little grape! The midwife wasn't able to catch a heartbeat on the doppler, so she managed to squeeze me in to get an ultrasound, just to calm my troubled heart. I got to see the tiny little thing, heartbeat going at 138 BMP. So far everything looks good with baby, I have a bit of tenderness in my pelvis that the midwife wants to keep an eye on because it's unusual to feel that this early.

We'll be telling Garrett's parents tonight or tomorrow, Merry Christmas grandma and grandpa! (Not like this is their first rodeo) Garrett's sister is on a mission and will be skyping Christmas Eve, so we might spill the beans to her too.
